Putin humiliated as Russia drops huge 500kg bomb on its civilians by accident

Russia has inadvertently unleashed a 500kg bomb on its soil damaging 30 houses and 10 cars, leaving five people injured.

The Defence Intelligence Update revealed that a Russian fighter jet "accidentally released a FAB-500 munition on a civilian area in Belgorod on May 4" - squarely within Russian borders.

After the incident, regional governor Vyachaslav Gladkov stated that an explosion had caused damage to Razdobarkina Street in Belgorod. However, he chose not to disclose the suspected cause of the blast.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) emphasized the significant destruction caused by the power of the munition.

The MoD further pointed out, "This is not an isolated incident. On February 18, it was reported that a FAB-250 was released on Soloti in the Belgorod area, resulting in the evacuation of 150 residents."

According to media reports, such incidents are quite common, with 20 munitions accidentally dropped in the Belgorod region alone between March and April 2024.

The occurrences demonstrate that Russia still struggles to effectively utilize its weapons on designated objectives.

These mistakes result in harmful and deadly outcomes for Russian citizens.

Reports indicate that a Russian rifle battalion has declined to engage in combat in Ukraine while their fellow soldiers gear up for an assault on Kharkiv.

Nonetheless, a member of Atesh, a Ukrainian military partisan group operating in the occupied regions, mentioned that enemy troops have opted out of participating in the attack, as per sources.

The Kyiv Independent has referenced an insider from the battalion who disclosed that some Russian soldiers flat-out refused to comply with their superior's directives.

The insider further stated: "Consequently, when ... the directive was issued, a segment of the battalion refused to execute the unlawful orders of the leadership."
